by Catherine Diverrès is forged from the soil, from a temperament, from movement. From the character of a strong and mysterious city, Palermo, where the company worked for two months. The choreographer’s language weaves the threads of exploration, greeting another world, foreign and strange. Playfully, she traces circles of flowing gestures and presences. Ritual, masks and procession meet with the abstraction, of geometrical line and poetry. Excavation, vestige and vertigos, the space is that of meetings and echoes. Cantieri evokes this fertile soil stemming from two mental worlds. The echoes of a voyage troubled by history and dreams.
