Laissez vous emporter par nos huit danseurs et sept musiciens pour un voyage dans la spirale du temps. C'est à l'Arsenal de Metz, très bientôt !

Laisser surgir les illuminations, comme l’archer zen laisse surgir les vols de la flèche, ou comme Rimbaud fait concert d’un dérèglement raisonné de tous les sens, pour sentir, ressentir, de toutes les manières possibles, en retournant à l’enfance du mouvement, à sa parade sauvage… Catherine Diverrès, ses danseurs, ses complices musiciens et l’ensemble Dedalus oeuvrent en live à ce grand saut vers la pleine ouverture de la sensation, la pleine explosion de ses saveurs… Une explosion dont il ne faut pas s’abriter, même si they’re only supposed to blow the bloody door off !

Let yourself wrapped for a trip with our eight dancers and seven musicians, a trip right into the time scroll. It's at the Metz' Arsenal, very soon !

Letting illuminations spring forth, as the Zen archer lets fly his arrows, or how Rimbaud encourages the rational disruption of all our senses in order to feel and experience in all possible ways, returning to our earliest childhood movement, its savage parade … Catherine Diverrès, her dancers, her musical accomplices and the Ensemble Dedalus work together in a completely live event toward a great flowering of sensation, a dramatic explosion of flavors … You don’t have to hide from this particular explosion, even though it is blow[ing] the bloody doors off!

Catherine Diverrès vient nous rappeler que la danse est un au-delà du corps, qu'elle n'est pas seulement une suite de mouvements ou de déplacements mais une vibration, une délicatesse à fleur de peau. (...) Ce spectacle n'est pas un regard passé et nostalgique sur Kazuo Ohno, danseur et chorégraphe cofondateur du butô, il en est son prolongement, comme si le dialogue avec les morts était une évidence.

Catherine Diverrès comes to remind us that dance goes somewhere beyond the body, that it is not just a series of movments or directions but also a vibration, a delicateness barely touching the skin.This work is not a nostalgic look back at Kazuo Ohno, the dancer and choreographer who was the co-founder of butoh, instead it is a kind of extension, as if being able a dialogue with the dead is in fact the norm.
