The Compagnie Catherine Diverrès/ association d’Octobre is also a professional training organization which offers government- approved courses.

The focus of this program is to precisely analyze the dynamics, the quality of the energy and of the movement in its relationship to space, to awareness, to objects, the imagination, to taking risks, both individual and collective.

The work consists of improv workshops with musicians, a dancer and the choreographer Catherine Diverrès, driven by the precepts of the different principles in her piece BLOWIN’ created in 2007 at the Rencontres chorégraphiques internationales de Seine Saint-Denis.

The BLOWIN’ program was offered in several European cities such as Madrid and Milan, in France in Vannes and soon in Brussels.

Harris Gkekas is originally from Mount Olympus in Greece.

He left his country at the age of 13 to study with Daniel Lommel in Bourges, earning a grant from the Onassis Foundation. His professional career began at the age of 17 with the Aenanon Company. He then joined the Ballet of the Rhine Opera, the Grand Théâtre in Geneva and the Lyon Opera Ballet, performing in many principal and soloist roles.

He danced many neoclassical works by William Forsythe, Jiri Kylian, Maurice Béjart, as well as contemporary pieces by Merce Cunnigham, Trisha Brown, Dominique Bagouet and Lucinda Childs.

He danced in the latest creation by Catherine Diverrès, Dentro (a duo).
