04 Jun CARTE BLANCHE to Catherine Diverrès
Théâtre Anne de Bretagne, Vannes
June 4 and 6, 2015
“For this Carte blanche, I chose to work with former and current dancers from the company who have worked with me at different times, and who became in turn choreographers, teachers, passeurs” …
We welcomed three generations of dancers, whose journeys and aesthetics have been quite different: Thierry Micouin, Capucine Goust, Marta Izquierdo Muñoz, Fabrice Lambert, Osman Khelili … artists whom I have followed closely or from afar, looking at their work and the paths they chose.
Smaller works (duos and solos) would accompany a larger work by Christian Rizzo.
We will be “occupying” the Palais des Arts, modifying its traditional public circulatory pathways: rest times, trajectories, video loops, an exhibition by Jean-Marie Flageul, “Acoustic images” by the Artisans Filmeurs Associés …
Workshops will be offered at Studio 8 for children, amateur dancers, teachers and professionals: we are thrilled to be associated with both the Festival Danses in Kerhervy and the Morbihan department, hosting the choreographer Bernardo Montet who will teach a workshop for teachers and professionals.
Mobility, proximity and diversity are the driving force and the central theme of this time shared with you.”
